Swiss Stories

This shot I took on my last day in Switzerland. It was a picture perfect place, almost like a fairy land. The hills were the right shade of green, the sky just blue enough and the cows nice and fattened. The land of prosperity, low crime, the country which has almost never participated in war and has all those fancy bank accounts with a fat load of money in them, it's just short of paradise. For me, the brown Indian girl from the land of poverty and snake charmers, this abundantly available beauty was a bit too much to digest. Everything was worth capturing in a picture and those 1000001 photo ops made my head spin.

Places I've Been

The last two years (post May 2006) I got a chance to travel a lot. This could be because now I've started living on my own, away from home. For the benefit of all who stumble upon this blog here's a list of places I've been, I'll elaborate more on each in the coming days:

1. Nainital (visited it after 18 years)
2. Places around Bombay ( from the lesser know to the more know)
3. Singapore ( I followed my sister there)
4. London (work took me there)
5. Switzerland ( long live my sister)

There's also a long list of things I've seen and learnt.. but that's tougher to specify.
